CHINESE MILITARY. Only two logs this month:
| V MB3R MB3R MB3R DE YA6X YA6X | on | 8385 kHz | |
| DE MB3R MB3R V | on | 8385 kHz | *) |
*) Both were logged by Alf. The second
log is a bit odd. Alf writes
"First time that I saw a modified V-marker of the Chinese Military Enigma
M89. Last night (30-6) on 8385 kHz they send just "DE MB3R
MB3R V". MB3R belongs to the pair "YA6X/MB3R". Some days
before YA6X was one the same channel with the usual Enigma M89 calling marker "MB3R
MB3R MB3R DE YA6X YA6X V". Usually only one callsign of the Enigma
M89-callsign pair is on the "DE" side, this time I first saw a "DE" from
the other partner?!? The marker last night did not look like garbled! Any comments
from the spooks?"
The marker is automated. Maybe their system malfunctioned, Alf. (editor)
