Hi and welcome to the 135th edition of "Numbers & Oddities".
2009 is only 3 days old when I'm finishing N&O so let me begin this issue with my best wishes to all of you!!!
It has been a very turbulent year and the economic situation will probably be even worse in 2009. I know that several readers have lost their jobs. I hope that everything will turn out fine for you.
UDXF is still going strong, we now have 2134 members. Very nice :-) I would like to thank all contributors to UDXF, Spooks and N&O. Without your input N&O would not exist.
So, what will you find in this issue of N&O? Mathias Kropf supplied the annual Clandestine Survey and further you'll find the usual items plus a number of interesting unids. Any info about them is greatly appreciated. I have also included the N&O 2008 index in this issue.
Russia's naval beacon "A" has been reactivated. This happened around the same time that the Russian Northern Fleet met the Russian Mediterranean Fleet. I guess that this was the reason why the beacon was activated.
