E10

The strings seem to be history. They were not reported during the past few months. There are however still a few unregular transmissions like the FDU and ABC transmissions.

FDU popped up on its usual frequency 6210 kHz on 6-10 at 1155 UTC with "FDU 4".

Manolis heard the call on 27-10 at 0928 UTC : FDU
  0946 UTC : FDU K
0951 UTC : FDU
1015 UTC : FDU 8

"ABC" was on the air on 17-10 at 1730 UTC on 6428 kHz.

S06

Trond submitted a nice recording of S06. The sample is on the N&O website.

S06 was on the air on 18-10 at 0710 UTC on 9180 kHz AM. After the transmission ended there was some noise best described as modulated hum. There were also several short periods in the "hum" that was best describes as a second carrier on the frequency, and suddenly a male computer voice came along with "53093 41580 41580 15" in English and then back to the "modulated hum". Probably a part of an E06 or E07 transcript.

V22

Sferix copied V22 on 8375 kHz at 1404 UTC on 08-10.

V24

V24 is a regular on 6215 kHz. Reported on 1500 and 1600 UTC by Tomonori.

V26

Sferix sent me the transcript of Chinese based numbers station V26. This is probably a Chinese military station and a sister station of M89 although this is not confirmed yet. Reasons to believe that this is a Chinese military station are:

Frequencies: 8621, 13029, 16666 kHz LSB

J. Lohry also copied this station around 1000 UTC at 6959 kHz.

The station is nicknamed "the Chinese Robot" because it uses a weird sounding synthesized voice. This makes it different from the other Chinese stations. I received the first reports of this station back in 2002. So far it has been using these frequencies: 4480, 5700, 6840, 6860, 6960, 7090, 7770, 8000, 8025, 9290 and 9340 kHz.
