M51

Both Fritz and Sam reported M51 activity on 3871, 4526, 4964, 5224, 5286, 5311, 5893, 5922, 6825, 6914, 7331, 7536, 7803, 7971 kHz. They are still playing tapes from 1989!

Samples:

The network is not often on the air lately. In their most active days M51's services began every Monday at dawn and stayed on the air until Friday evening. The broadcasts consist of strings of messages numbered from 01-90, each of them being composed of 100 5-letter groups.

Each message is preceded by a header like this:

= NR 38 N 30 08:13:28 1989

Meaning:

NR 38 message number, it is a one-up number from 01-90, which returns to the beginning again
N first letter of the month in French
30 Date
08:13:28 Central European Time (UTC +2 Summer, UTC+1 in Winter) Sometimes, it lags real time by a few minutes.
1989 Year
