"5/17/06 0400 I was monitoring both 4329 kHz and 10235 kHz for V2a and M8a sendings, respectively. Both started, but reversed; M8a on 4329 kHz and V2a on 10235 kHz. At 0401 the tech must have noticed, and switched the streams back to the right frequencies.
These things happen from time to time with the Cubans. Unfortunately, I did not have the recording on.
It is notable that the V2a sending pace was very irregular with the numbers either rushed or spaced apart, making them quite difficult to hear accurately. Maybe an old tape or the machine is not running at a regular speed or it is intentional."

New Star's only active frequency is 8300 kHz. All other freqs are silent. The station is regularly on the air. Heard on 22 June at 1200 UTC.
