Pirate stations / beacons

The Italian religious pirate was on the air on his usual frequency 6998 kHz sending its bogus call "vvv vvv de HWK7" followed by religious texts in plain Italian.

The Rodent Revolution station WBNY was on the air on 10-6 using 6925 kHz.

A number of pirate beacons were heard in the USA. Most of them are thought to be located in the southwest desert area.

4079.63	Sends temperature in Fahrenheit like "TMP103"
4088.9	Dash 0.5" on x 0.5" off cycle
4096.26	Sends continuous dashes
4096.6	Different from the latter: dash 2" on x 2" off cycle
4102.32	Sends a letter W then follows differing numbers of dots
66263.3	2 dots per second, strange tone
6700.5	Dash 1"
8000.55	Dot "echo" beacon. Several dots with two following echoes then dots with one following echo. Descending tone frequency, (each echo about 10 Hz lower in frequency).

Frequencies often change at least 50 Hz during the day.
