Morse stations

M08

K6FIB from the USA found M08, the sister station from V02, we mentioned earlier. It was on October 21th, 1330 UTC, ending 4 minutes later, on 12093 kHz. He continues his report:

"Cut Numbers:
NWTGG AAWUR ETAIGA DTWMW MTTUG DUUSAT UIGUW DTTDN UNRMM UDIRR %DRG
MUTWU TGTDW GIAWU DDWMU RRIWR TADMN RUNRG MIUGA WIUAA
Very clean and good signal. RST 549. Right before it went off it had a strange partial dit (really quick) several times and sent OOO. I'm sure these are all computer generated, but this almost sounded like a mechanical malfunction occurring with a machine generated CW device."

Thank you, k6fib, for your report.

Unid stations

TBiB from the USA wrote us via ENIGMA2000 about an UNID station, which he heard on October 13th, 2021 UTC, on 7556.0 kHz.His comment:

"Time is currently 2021z and there is a CW transmission going on right now. 5-letter sets. I first started hearing it about 2016z. This is the same frequency upon which I heard the same sort of transmission last night around 0830Z. I'm in Texas. Currently, the signal is weak. Last night it was quite strong. Time of day, I imagine, but I felt if I camped out on this frequency I'd hear something again."

Igor from Russia, who is very familiar with Morse stations, also found an UNID station, which came on October 18th, 0016 UTC, on 5611 kHz, callup: "544". He further writes, what he heard:

544 544 544 (Repeated during 5 minutes)
= = =
ta6a3a4 ta6a3a4 (stopped)"

Also Vambo from CO, USA, found an UNID CW station on October 22th, 0300 (?) UTC, on 4191 kHz: "manual unid CW fast with poor fist deep fades", as he describes it.

Thanks to TBiB, Igor and Vambo for their logs.
