Chris Smolinksi received an interesting note that says:
"Drove by "Station C" in Remington, VA over the weekend. ALL of the antennas are gone. A helpful local said they got ripped out last year. The buildings are still there, fence, camera, etc. but no more antennas."
That would mean that we may not expect any E05/V05 transmissions from that site any more. I wonder if the US HF facilities in Germany will be closed now that the majority of the US military will be withdrawn from Europe. Will Cynthia ever reappear?
Three different string messages were reported in August:

Alex from Austria writes that he heard FTJ on a wrong frequency...
12626 kHz at 1733 UTC with a message. "I think it should be 2626 kHz. I've never heard any E10 on 12626 kHz. Reception today was much better on 12626 than it has ever been on 2626 :-)", he says.
FTJ can occasionally be heard on 7322 kHz.

David wrote me to tell that he had not heard the Cubans since hurricane Charlie passed on 13 August. Apparently the Cubans have repaired the damage as they returned to the air around the 18th.
