Egyptian intelligence service chief General Omar Suleiman has met the head of Israel's Mossad spy agency on 16 July. The radio station that reported this did not specify the location or the content of the talks between Suleiman and the Mossad chief, General Meir Dagan. Suleiman also visited Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat at his headquarters in the West Bank city of Ramallah. They discussed ways to shore up the suspension in anti-Israeli attacks that four Palestinian radical groups declared on June 29 and the implementation of the road map peace plan.
