Richard posted E06 and E07 logs to the ENIGMA list:
Russian Man on 8080 kHz at 2100 UTC (3 March). He says :
"Maybe it's a reflection of the Russian economy but this transmission kept breaking down and it took 3 attempts and 20 minutes to pass a 30 group message! Id '102' first group 29084, ended 958 30 00000"
More E06 reports reach us from Manolis on beautiful Crete. He copied the station
on Saturday, 22 March at:
| 1242 UTC | on | 18235 kHz | (just caught the end of transmission) |

| 1500 UTC | on | 13940 kHz | 507 912 87 41661... |
... and on Sunday, 23 March at:

E07 was heard on 3 March, 8185 kHz AM at 2120 UTC and 6817 kHz AM at 2140 UTC. "I missed the start", says Richard. The transmission ended with "67597 91585 000 000"

Although there is a lot of unrest in the area, there was no increased activity reported.
Richard copied "ABC" on 5222 kHz at 2129 UTC on 18 March. I still wonder if the "ABC" transmissions are tests of some sort.

Richard too heard S06. On 2 March he copied them on the following times and frequencies: 18235 kHz, 1230 UTC: "791 325 68 06168" (68 groups) and on 16257 kHz at 1330 UTC, the same message was sent. The Russian Man was in the evening on 7900 kHz at 1800 UTC with 2 messages. Richard missed the start of first but caught the rest: "350 19 168 (repeated) then 937x2 24x2 72810 (24 groups)". Mistakes were made in transmission and the group was restarted after several 168s! Also at 1835 UTC on 8150 kHz. Ended with "154 83 00000"

RSV - Strategicheskyje Raketnyje Voyska
Strategic Missile Troops (SMT)
The Raketnyye Voyska Strategicheskogo Naznacheniya (RSVN) were the main Soviet attack forces. They operated all Soviet ground-based medium range and intercontinental nuclear missiles. RSVN was also responsible for the Soviet space vehicle launches. A major reorganization in 1997 resulted in a new strategic command; the Strategicheskyje Raketnyje Voyska -RSV- (Strategic Missile Troops), being the old RSVN, the Military Space Forces, and the Space Missile Defense Forces. The latter two were previously part of the Troops of Air Defense.
Several reorganizations took place between 1997 and 2002. One of the most important reorganizations is the one that started in 2001. The Space Missile Defence Troops and the Space Military Forces were removed from the Strategic Missile Troops and put under the direct control of the General Staff. The Strategic Missile Troops is now an independent combat arm under control of the president. They were a separate branch under the overall Ministry of Defense, on the same level as Navy, Air Force, Army, and the former PVO. This is similar to some of the Interior Ministry troops that answer to the president, but do not have the same level of influence or resources that a full fledged military branch would have.
The Strategic Missile Troops have a large number of intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs), launch control centers, and missile bases. The number is still decreasing as a direct result of the Strategic Arms
Reduction Treaty (START) that the USSR and the USA signed in 1991.
Three stations that reportedly belong to the RSV are the ones that we call "the buzzer", "the pip" and "R".
The "buzzer", callsign UZB-76, is located at 55 N 49'36"/36 E 47'18" (ca 40 km west of Moscow). It operates on one frequency: 4625 kHz. Its characteristic sound, the "buzz", is repeated between 21 and 24 times per minute. The audio tone of the oscillator sometimes instantaneously shifts, sounding like a dying fly. The station transmits orders, time code and operational data from the staff of the RSV in Moscow to ICBM launching platforms. UZB-76 is part of the Central Communications Hub of the RSV.
Statistics of recently intercepted voice messages(UTC):
| 0300-0400 | 1 | (351) |

| 1500-1600 | 1 | (1543) |
So far nothing at other times.
The "pip", located in the Rostov-Volgograd area, transmits on a night and day frequency, respectively 3756 and 5448 kHz. It airs irregularly messages that are similar to the ones transmitted by the buzzer.
The third one is "R" in Izhevsk, which operates on 3195, 4325.8 and 5465.8 kHz. This station also sends voice messages on irregular times.
