Izumi logged ELB2 on 5230//7605 kHz, on 23 Sept, 1047 UTC. These frequencies carried on other days VLB and VLB2.
An anonymous monitor sent me a list of the unusual E10 messages that he captured during the past year. COE, ELB, KOA and VLD are calls that I haven't seen before. ELB was heard on various frequencies. The list arrived via snail mail without the sender's name or address. Thanks for sending this me, OM. Should you willing to supply more info about times and frequencies, please mail me.

I haven't heard this one for quite a while but it seems to be still alive and kicking. The Egypt based station was reported a number of times with call FYP (Frank Young Peter) at 1700 UTC on 14000 kHz.
Probably not related but..... you never know! This was reported on 14000 kHz: Arabic net with operators Aywa, Hassan, Habib, Said and Khalid. Heard between 0700-0915 UTC.

One of our correspondents from the UK told me that E18 is back. It was the first report since May. The station was heard at 2100 UTC on 6545 kHz on Wednesday 12 September. The call, 269, was followed by a short message. Message number 170. This is interesting because the last message that was logged in May carried message number 165. What is the purpose of this station if it only sends one message a month?

Not often reported these days, but the Eastern Music station is still alive. I received two reports of a 1600 UTC transmission at 6645 kHz.

Max van Arnhem sez "hi, I'm hearing endless Russian names on 10341 kHz."
The date was 20 September at 2155 UTC. What Max heard was an unid station using a Slavic spelling alphabet with words as Wladimir, Gregory, Dimitri, etc. The groups were read by a male.
Ideas anyone?
