FAPSI intercepts

The number of FAPSI RTTY logs is very low these days. Diminishing number of transmissions?; a diminishing interest of the monitors?; or do they use other -unreadable- modes??? I will upload the updated list of freqs, callsigns, and link# shortly.

The location of callsign BFR on link 00030 is the Russian embassy in Damascus. The other end of the link is RGA in Moscow. This once more indicates that the network is a diplo net. We have to guess at the nature of the messages, but because this is traffic between -MFA?- Moscow and Russia's diplomatic and trade establishments in the world, the messages are most probably of a diplomatic nature. However, Russian intelligence (FSB, SRV, GRU) are known to conduct sigint collection from diplomatically immune buildings, like embassies and consulates. It is therefore quite safe to assume that some of the messages are to or from the local spy master or military attaché.
