| A | old timer 'A' is still around and often heard during the night in the far east on 3195 kHz. |
| R | also on 3195 kHz is most of the times audible in both Europe and the far east. Also on 3322, 4325 and 5466 kHz in Europe. |
| C | was back for a short period on all known cluster freqs. |
| S | was back for a short period on all known cluster freqs. |
| V | sending non-stop Vs over and over on 3658 kHz. Good audible during the east Asian night. V stations on 4575, 4646, 4878 and 7002 kHz were silent. |
| K | heard on 5154 kHz. K station is a dirty slow-keying CW with a distinctive hum. |
| H | another oldie that hasn't been logged for many years, now loud and clear during the European evenings on 7064.4 kHz. Its appearance coincides with the Murmansk submarine tragedy. Related???? |
| F | was heard on 10872 kHz |
| P | not reported this month. |

M21 was reportedly on 6491 kHz with its typiccal "BT991409??8?????" messages.

Costas heard and unid station on 4727 kHz a7 0630 UTC on 11 August.
The station sent handkeyed messages as: "VVV DE AND AND =" and "VVV AND QSV NO NO". Went off the air at 06:37. Any ideas?
