Noise and oddities

Due to the varying nature of the reports on these bumps and squeaks ENIGMA 2000 will only report on their status as and when we receive reports:

E sent some interesting noise observations from his South of England shack:

4995kHz	2324z	29/04	Rapid tapping – sounded electronic?

5740 to 5753 and 6716kHz	2008z	09/05	Rasping noise in 30s bursts.

9193 to 9207kHz	1905z	18/05	Rasping noise in 30s bursts.

S28 [the buzzer]

4625kHz brought to notice with a report of numerals sent in CW. Unfortunately insufficient sample to allow ID [Thanks Izzywizzy]

Gert informed us of a brilliant find.

"I have just heard XM, backward music station, on 11362 kHz (fri 9th june, 08.00z).

Suddenly I heard the tones stop and a male calling numbers in a slavic language. I believe he says: 12345678 and something I don't understand.

I was just quick enough to start the recorder and have attached he soundsample with the voice."
