Strong carriers modulated with audio tone;- noted on several occasions in early July on 5,089 and 10,299 kHz. Was S9+ on both frequencies on Friday 18-July and since the signal was so clear I fired up the frequency counter and read the modulating tone as 575 Hz. [Tnx PoSW]

Regarding a question from an E2k member concerning a copy of the last transmission, we cannot offer. However we suggest that you visit: www.geocities.com/uvb76 where you will find some very interesting facts about UVB76.
For instance it purpose is described as the : "Transmission of orders, operational data and time code from Strategic Missile Troops (SMT) Staff in Moscow to ICBM launching platforms. UZB-76 is part of Central Communications Hub of SMT."
| 4625kHz | 0407z | 25/07 | London S5 to S7 variable. |
Continues to dominate 3757kHz in the 80M band.
The 3757kHz pip passed a message:
| 3756kHz | 2202z | 29/07 | Message passed - available in 'Samples' on Group. |
Another pip was heard by PLondon on 3808.7kHz and may have been a time signal. PLondon reported:
| 3808kHz | 0403z | 23/07 | [S2 in London]. |
| 0359z | 25/07 | [S2 in London]. |
A further Pip has been reported: On 31/08 2008z Ary wrote, "On 8340 kHz you can observe a 2-second pip. Morse has been noted on this freq but it is not 100% certain if this is related. So far I only heard the pip and nothing else during the past half hour." Laurent Carbonneau reported via 'Spooks at 2015z, "I hear it but the signal is very weak to follow ..."
E2k's 'Wind in the Anrenna' wrote,"Listening with interest here on the south coast of England. Nothing heard as yet."
8340kHz2008z31/08 two second pip.
This peculiar sound has been reported by MPetrakis:
'While wiating for V07 [14937kHz 12/08] I heard a frog like signal, XFR, around 0606z'. MP was not sure of the exact freq and suggests 14940kHz. [Tnx MPetrakis]!
XSL is heard on 4152.5, 4231, 4290.5, 6249.5, 6416.5, 6444.5, 8312.5, 8587.5 and 8703.5kHz. USB mode
Still being heard in US, Oceania and like areas. E2k would like to receive details of any observations made in Great Britain, Eire and Europe please.
